My Amateur Radio Page
NOTE:
The FCC requires a license to use Amateur Radios, so I studied and took the test. I met with testing officials outdoors during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic and didn’t have a mask; we practiced social distancing outside. I was not properly introduced or instructed on the test. During the testing, I felt shunned by the administrator; I certainly felt unwanted and was told I failed. That didn’t feel good, nor was it conducive to testing. All I wanted was to communicate with friends in the bush in Alaska from the lower 48 states, and to follow the FCC and local rules. The FCC does not adhere to Citizens' Rules and is used to create a class of people over whom FCC officials have control. I will not be part of any U.S. FCC group with a thoughtless disregard for U.S. citizens' freedom. Licenses infringe upon citizens' rights concerning today's technology.
