My Amateur Radio Page
NOTE:
The FCC requires a license to use Amateur Radios, so I studied and took the test. I met with testing officials in an outdoor environment during the 2020 Coved-19 pandemic and did not have a mask; we were outside doing social distancing. I was not adequately introduced or instructed on the test. While testing, I felt shunned by the FCC officials issuing the test; I felt unwanted, to be sure, and told I failed the test.
That did not feel good, nor was it conducive to testing. All I wanted was to be able to talk to my friends in the bush in Alaska from the lower 48 and follow the FCC and local rules. The FCC does not follow Citizens' Rules of freedom. Licensing, I feel, is used to choose a Class of people bullying our liberty. I have decided not to be part of any US FCC group with such an offhand thoughtless following for US Citizens. I feel FCC officials infringed upon citizens' rights for today's technology.
